5. Packaging
Aluminum bottle (sealed under nitrogen) in a cardboard box. Standard Pack Size: 5Kg. (Alternative packaging formats available on request)
6. Storage conditions and shelf life
DHA should be stored in sealed nitrogen filled condition.The shelf life of the DHA oil is one year under the condition of 0 ~ -5ºC and two years under the condition of - 10 ~ - 5ºC.
7. General Handling
Since the oil is sensitive to exposure to air and pro-oxidant materials, special handling instructions must be observed in addition to the standard health, safety and hygiene practices normally observed in the food industry. Transfer and weighing operations should be done as quickly as possible to minimise exposure to air. Where possible, it is recommended that the oil remains in an inert gas atmosphere.
