Docosahexaenoic Acid, abbreviated to DHA, belongs to the family of omega-3 long-chain
polyunsaturated fatty acids. It cannot be synthesized by human body itself but supplied by the food. DHA
is an important component of the brain and eyes cells and dominates in the brain and visible
development of infants, especially being required by the pregnant and milk feeding women as well as
infants.
Fuxing Microalgal DHA Powder
The powder is made of food-class modified starch or malt dextrin and Microalgal DHA oil with
modern embedding technology. It can be applied to infant milk formula, rice powder, and as additives of
other cereal products. The product satisfies the criteria set by FAO/WHO on infant fatty acid foods.
Appearance and characteristics
White or yellow powder solid, with algal characteristic flavor, dissolvable in water, forming emulsion without precipitation.
