Arachidonic Acid, abbreviated to AA, is
5,8,11,14-Eicosateraenoic Acid. It is a kind of Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid (PUFA) which is most abundant, active and necessary in human body.
AA is extracted from a kind of fungus ,and can be added into various children's food as a nutrient enrichment. Today it has extended its application in many fields such as in health care products, cosmetics, pharmaceutics, and chemical materials.
As a nutrient enrichment, AA is equipped with the capability of advancing intelligence, strengthening memory ability and bettering the eyesight. It falls into two categories: AA oil and AA powder.
ARA powder preparation
It refers to the powder preparation achieved after AA Oil being embedded by food-class
modified starch and other stable materials, the main ingredient is modified starch with AA
content≥10%.
Appearance and properties
White or light yellow powder solid, dissolvable in water, forming emulsion without
precipitation.
